Halemakala Betta




Halemakala Betta is a small hillock surrounded by forests and groves of eucalyptus trees. This picturesque place is situated at Hoskote in Bangalore Rural District of Karnataka.

The hill has mandapas, a painted stone pillar and a main temple dedicated to Bhupathmma. The annual nine day festival after Ugadi is celebrated with much fervor here. Nearby hotels in Hoskote provide good accomodation.

The beauty of the surrounding fields, forests and hills and the pure unpolluted air, laced with the fragrance of wild flowers makes this place a sought after destination.

Bangalore International Airport is the nearby access. Bangalore Cantonment is the nearest major railway station.
