Hadsar



Hadsar is a hill fort, situated at an altitude of 4687 feet above sea level. It is in the Malshej region and its base village is Godre. This fort forms the eastern tip of the Naneghat range. Lenadri, at the eastern end of this range is close by. It features a unique temple of Ganapathi situated amidst Buddhist caves. It is 4 km from Junnar and its ridge continues upto Hadsar. Other sights to visit include the caves that offer ample oportunities for explorations and the impressive Darwaja (Gate) of this ancient fort.
