Gurne Kalan is a village, on the Jakhal-Sunam Road, situated in Sangrur District
. Like most other villages in Punjab, this village also became famous by the blessed visit of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib
, the ninth Sikh guru. The gurdwara situated here has been built in memory of the visit of the guru.
