Gurdwara Kaulsar is one of the historical
gurdwaras situated at
Amristar.
It was built by Guru Hargobind Sahib in memory of the Muslim girl who became a devout Sikh. She fled from her family as she was sentenced to death for becoming a Sikh. She spent the rest of her life in meditation. The gurdwara also has a sarovar or tank, which is today connected with the same water channel that supplies water to Amrit Sarovar.
