Gurdwara Damdama Sahib Patshahi Chhevin

Gurdwara Damdama Sahib Patshahi Chhevin is a historical shrine located about half km north of Raqba village in Ludhiana District. Dedicated to Guru Hargobind, this Gurdwara is a major point of attraction for a large number of Sikh devotees. It is believed that Guru had visited this place in 1631. With a rectangular hall and a domed sanctum, the Gurdwara was built in 1936 by Baba Awtar Singh Boparai. It has a sarovar (pond), a langar (community kitchen) and a residential block. Thousands throng here to attend the community meal and the monthly divan held on the first of every Bikrami month.
