Gurdwara Brahmakund

Gurdwara Brahmakund is one of the oldest Gurdwaras situated on the Brahmaghat, in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Prominent Sikh gurus, including the founder of the Sikh religion, Guru Nanak, had meditated and preached here. Later a Gurdwara was built on this place and was named as Gurdwara Brahmakund.

According to the Hindu mythology, it is believed that Lord Brahma, had meditated at this place for 5000 years.
