Located at Baher Village in Fatehgarh Sahib, Gurdwara Baher Sahib is one of the most well-known
Gurdwaras of
Punjab. Associated with
Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, this Gurdwara attracts large number of Sikh devotees. It is believed that Guru Tegh Bahadur had stayed here on his way to
Dadu Majra-Bhagrana and had performed several miracles during his visit here. The Guru had named the village as Baher.
