Guntupalli village is situated about 85 km from
Vijayawada and 45 km from
Eluru. It is a Buddhist site with rock-caves in a horseshoe shaped valley. One can see a circular Chaityagriha (place of worship), some images of the
Buddha, votive stupas and
Viharas (a domicile for Buddhist monks) at Guntupalli.
Eluru Railway Station is on the Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam line.
