Gunike




Gunike is a small village situated 12 km from Nabha in Patiala District of Punjab.

The village has a pond known as Sidhan Wali Dhab where the ninth Sikh guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, rested during his tour in the Bangar zone of Punjab. A platform has been built here in the memory of the guru. The village also has a Gurdwara, built in 1860, in memory of the visit of the guru.

Patiala Cantonment Station and Patiala Railway Station are the nearby railheads.
