Gundala




Situated on the banks of the Kinnerasani River, Gundala is a town in Khammam District of Andhra Pradesh. Gundala is north-west of Bhadrachalam.

The prime attraction here is a hot water spring near the river bank. According to Brahma Purana, TrimuthiLord Shiva, Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu – bathed here in winter. Kinnerasani Wildlife Sanctuary is a point of interest nearby.

The nearby cities and towns include Kichnapalli in the east, Allapalli in the south-east and Kistaram in the south.

Bhadrachalam Road Railway Station is the nearest major railhead. Vijayawada Airport is the nearest airport.
