Guna




Guna, the administrative headquarters of Guna District in Madhya Pradesh, is considered the gateway to the Malwa and Chambal regions of the state. It is located 158 km north of Bhopal.

Places of tourist interest include Bajrangarh Fort, Kaushak Mahal, Chanderi Fort, Ramnagar Mahal, Issagarh and Anandpur (70 km).

Guna has a domestic aerodrome. Nearest major airport is at Bhopal. Guna Railway Station is on the Kota-Bina rail line. National Highway 3 has its route through Guna.
