Guler

Guler, earliest center of painting, is on the south of Kangra. It was founded by Raja Hari Chand, the ruler of Kangra, in 1405. There are several old temples, remains of a fort and remarkable city gates.

Guler has an important role in the development of Pahari painting. Haripur is a nearby place worth visiting.
