Grengdik Ba'A

A Ritual Dance



Grengdik Ba'A is a ritual dance performed by the Garo tribes of Meghalaya. This ritual dance is performed to the accompaniment of rhythmic music. A dark red silken cloth is stretched over the heads of the dancers like a canopy. During the ceremony games and sports are also conducted. The whole day is celebrated singing and dancing.
