Govindsahab



Govindsahab is a village in Azamgarh District of Uttar Pradesh. It is 6 km from Atraulia. The place gained prominence through the visit of a great saint, Mahatma Govind Sahab.

The highlight is a large fair held on the day of Agahan sudi Dashmi. It lasts for one month and is the time to trade the cattle such as cow, bull, camel, horse and elephant.

Jalalpur, Ahraula and Mahrajganj are the nearby places. Varanasi Airport and Azamgarh Railway Station are the nearest access points.
