Govindgarh




Govindgarh, the capital of the old Vindhya state, is a picturesque place in Chitrakut District of Uttar Pradesh. The place is famous for ripe mangoes and white tigers.

The personal museum of the Maharajah of Rewa, housed in the Govindgarh Palace, on the banks of a huge lake is worth visiting.

Govindgarh is 19 km from Rewa.
