Government Science and Commerce College at Benarzir was opened on
October 8, 1982. The college is affiliated to
Barkatullah Vishvavidyalya,
Bhopal. It offers under graduate and post graduate courses: B.Sc., B.Com., M.Com., M.Sc. Zoology, M.Sc. Botony, M.Sc. Chemistry, and M.Sc. Mathematics. The college has a library with attached reading room.
