Gourinathdham

Gourinathdham is located in Purulia District of West Bengal. This town is around 13 km north-east of Purulia. National Highway 32 passes through this town. Chas Road and Jaipur are located to the west, Chharra to the east, Chandankiari to the north and Kantadih and Urma to the south.

Old temples and ruins of Jain origin at Chharra, Bird Sanctuary at Chandrapura, Chelliama, Pakhipahar and Joychandi Pahar are the tourist destinations.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Gourinathdham Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station respectively.
