Gori Trai Festival




Gori Trai festival is celebrated annually by the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

The festival is held on the third day after the new moon in the month of Magh (January-February). On the festival day, the family priest brings gaudy scroll paintings for the children and pujas are performed to appease Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of art and knowledge.
