Gopalaswamy Betta




Gopalaswamy Betta is a scenic hill station in Chamrajnagar District of Karnataka. It is a part of Bandipur National Park at Bandipur. Situated 1,455 m above sea level, it is famous for the temple of Himavat Gopalaswamy or Santanagopalaswamy.

The hill has a wide range of medicinal plants. A 13th century fort of the Palegars of Terakanambi is found here.

Gopalaswamy Betta is around 80 km from Mysore.
