Gopal Mandir is a wooden temple located near Shogi on the Shimla-
Kalka road. The temple is noted for some fine murals. The themes are based on
Radha and
Krishna, and
Shiva and
Parvati.
Vishnu reclining on the sesanaga and killing
Hiranyakashipu are the other paintings.
Shogi is about 10 km from Shimla.
