Gonasika

Situated 45 km from Keonjhar, Gonasika is a pilgrimage center for the temple of 'Brahmeswar Mahadev'. The region is blessed with nature’s splendor, comprising a series of valleys and wooded hills of varying color encompassing it. It is also the place of origin for the river Baitarani. A little away from the point of origin, the river goes underground and hence is called Guptaganga which is then seen after a short distance, jumping over a stone projection giving the appearance of the nostril of a cow.
