Gokaran

Gokaran is a small town in Murshidabad District of West Bengal. It lies about 93 km from Bardhaman. Berhampore is 14 km north-east of Gokaran. It is bounded by Khargram in the west, Mahalandi in the north, Beldanga in the east and Kandi in the south.

Tarapith Temple, Banwari temple, Radha Gopinatha Temple and Kandi Palace are the places of interest around the town.

The nearest airport is at Kolkata. Berhampore Court is the main railway station.
