Gohaingaon




Gohaingaon is in Jorhat District of Assam. It is located to the east of Kokilamukh (10 km), south of Abhaipur (21 km) and north of Dimruguri (10 km). Gohaingaon is a principal mustard growing area. The Brahmaputra flows on the northern side of Gohaingaon.

Majuli Island, the world's largest river island, is about 11 km south of Gohaingaon.

Jorhat Civil Air Terminal is the nearest airport. Mariani Junction Railway Station, about 15 km away from Jorhat, is the nearest railhead.
