Goelkera

Goelkera is situated within the dense Saranda Forest area of West Singhbum District, in Jharkhand. It is located 39 km north-east of Manoharpur.

Major point of attraction here is the old Mahadev Sal Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Tholkobad and Chiriyaare are interesting places nearby. Sericulture projects are undertaken in Goelkera.

Goelkera is a prominent railhead under South Eastern Railways. Ranchi airport serves Goelkera.
