The Godown Street is located on the left when entering the N.S.C. Bose Road,
Chennai. The street dates back to around 250 years and is famous for fabric and textiles from reputed mills. Started as a whole sale market, it now has many retail shops also. Most of the shops at this place are now owned by North Indians.
