Goddess Matangi




Matangi is a powerful goddess in Hindu mythology. She is one of the ten Mahavidyas or incarnations of the Divine Mother. She was created from the dark fire of goddess Kali’s face. Being dark in color, she is the most fearful form of goddess Shakthi and the destroyer of demons. She has three eyes and four hands holding a noose, mace, axe, and a hook. She is worshipped to attain control over speech, creativity, and knowledge.
