taluk of the same name, is situated in
Kanpur Nagar District. It is about 40 km
Kanpur and 113 km from
Lucknow.
About 12 km east of Ghatampur is Nimbia Khera, a village which boasts a 2000 year old Shiva temple. Behta Buzurg, another village 15 km from Ghatampur, on the road going from Ghatampur to Sarh, is famous for an ancient Jagannath temple.
