The Ghat-Shila is a temple like structure located near the famous Bhavani Temple of
Tuljapur,
Osmanabad District. It is a big boulder associated with
Lord Ram. Devotees believe that this place has been sanctified by the presence of Lord Ram who was moving in search of Sita. Goddess Amba appeared before Ram in the form of Sita to tease him. But Ram recognized the goddess and prayed for her blessings. Legends say that two brothers of Amba were resting on the Ghat–Shila when this meeting took place.
The Yedshi railway staion of the Central Railways is located nearby.
