Ghantai Temple

Ghantai Temple is a famous Jain temple situated to the south of Duladeo Temple in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh.

The architecture of the temple indicates it to be among the temple of 10th century. It is noted for its chain-and-bell (ghanta) motifs carved on its tall conspicuous pillars, which are among the finest ones of medieval India.

Ghantai Temple has a frieze portraying the 16 dreams of Mahavir's mother and a multi-armed Jain goddess perched on a winged garuda (eagle).
