Gatta




Gatta is about 11 km north of Kothi, near the eastern border of Gadchiroli District with Chhattisgarh, in Maharashtra. Surajgarh lies west of Gatta and Hachbori is situated north.

Markandeshwar Temple Complex, Vairagad Fort, Gorjai Temple and Bhandareshwar Temple at Vairagad, and the sacred site of Ekora are tourist options available in the district. Tadoba - Andharai Tiger Reserve, Bhamragarh Wildlife Sanctuary and Chaprala Wildlife Sanctuary are popular wildlife haunts in the neighboring Chandrapur District.

Sonegaon Airport serves Gatta.
