Garden City College of Science and Management Studies was established by the Garden City Education Trust. It is affiliated to Bangalore University and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE),
New Delhi. It is a pioneer Institution in
Bangalore creating professionals in the field of science and management. The college offers under-graduate courses in computer science, computer application, microbiology, genetics, physiotherapy, hotel management, business management, fashion and apparel design and journalism. Post-graduate courses in computer applications, business administration, tourism administration, microbiology and biotechnology are also provided.
The infrastructure of the college is a serene environment in the outskirts of Bangalore. There are various student clubs related to arts, science and sports. Separate hostels are provided for girls and boys. North/South Indian, Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian food are served at the mess.
