Gapshan

Gapshan is located the northern parts of Leh District in Jammu and Kashmir. Chip Chap River flows through the area.

Earlier, Chong Kumdan Glacier used to block the Shyok River giving rise to Gapshan Lake. Once the glacier drifted the lake drained away.
