Ganjifa Cards are hand-made playing cards of Sawantwadi. The cards are made from circular pieces of paper on which intricate designs of Dashavatar are hand painted. Each pack contains 120 cards housed in multi-colored box. History says that these cards were brought by Bhosle (royal family of Goa settled there after fleeing from Portuguese rule) about 350 years ago.
