Gangra

Gangra of Midnapore District lies near the western banks of the Hooghly. Nandigram is 12 km to its north. Around 14 km towards the east of Gangra is Phulbari, a town in South 24 Parganas District.

Dariapur, famous for its ancient Kapal Kundala temple, Gopaljew Temple, Syamaleswar Temple, Radha-Benode Temple, Sarbhuj Mandir and Digha are popular tourist options.

The town is accessible from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Dantan Railway Station.
