Gangapur is a major pilgrim center situated 38 km from Gulbarga, in Karnataka.

Major point of attraction is the Sri Kshetra Gangapur, one of the famous Dattatreya Peethas, on the banks of Bhima River. Large numbers of people gather here throughout the year to take a holy dip at the confluence of Bhima and Awarja rivers. The annual fair held here in February is another major draw.
