Gangamoola Hills




Gangamoola is a hill cloaked in thickly wooded forests of the Western Ghats, in Samse Taluk of Chickmagalur District, Karnataka. Three mighty rivers - Tunga, Bhadra and netravati - originate from here. Attractions include a shrine of Goddess Bhagavathi and a 1.8 m Varaha image within a cave. Gangamoola cannot be visited during the monsoons.
