Ganga Golden Jubilee Museum




Ganga Golden Jubilee Museum, situated at Bikaner, is one of the best museums in Rajasthan. It was established in 1937, near the Lalgarh Palace, on the eve of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Maharaja Gaiiga Singh. Later in 1954, the museum was shifted to a new building in the Civil Lines and is now run by the Government of Rajasthan.

Ganga Golden Jubilee Museum exhibits a varied collection of artifacts including terracotta, pottery, carpets, paintings, armory and miniature paintings of Bikaner school and coins. The exhibits are splendid masterpieces of Harappan civilization, Gupta and Kushan era and sculptures of the late classical time.

Ganga Golden Jubilee Museum is open daily from 10:00 to 17:00 hrs.
