Gainsari

Gainsari is a major town in Balrampur District. The towns of Jarwa and Chandanpur are situated to its north and Pachperwa lies south-east of Gainsari.

Nearly 13 km west of Gainsari lies Tulsipur, a place famous for the Devi Patan Siddha Peeth which is believed to be one of the 51 Shaktipithas of Goddess Parvati.

Gainsari is linked to several regional towns of eastern Uttar Pradesh. Gainsari Junction Railway Station and Amausi Airport serve the town.
