Ga-Laam Dance


One of the most popular dances of Rongmei tribe in Manipur, Ga-Laam, is characterized by the modulation of sound and movement from soft and slowly rhythm to a very fast climax. Ga-Laam literally means Crab Dance, and is noted for its grace and beauty.
