Fullara is a holy place in
Birbhum District. There is an old temple dedicated to Goddess
Sati, which is considered as one of the Sati pithas. Beside the temple lies a big pond.
Fullara can be reached from Bolpur (50 km) by bus, via
Nannur and Kirnahar. It is also connected with Katwa,
Sainthia and Suri. The nearest railway station is at Ahmodpur.
