Food and Cultural Festival, organized by the department of tourism, is a five day long festival highlighting Goan cuisine and entertainment. Goan food is as famed as the Goans' endeavor for poetry, painting and music. The festival usually falls in the month of November and is held at
Miramar Beach, in
Panaji.
Numerous stalls operated by reputed caterers from the star hotels and restaurants offer one a rich experience of Goan cuisine. Aerated drinks, alcoholic beverages, ice-creams and snacks are also catered. Various cultural programs and fire works display mark the finale of this festival.
