Ferozpore Nallah, a pretty mountain stream originating from the rugged peaks of Ferozpore (Shinmahinyu), is a favored trout fishing spot in Kashmir. A 3 km walk down the path from the gap near the Tangmarg road, and heading southwards along the forest, down a slope takes one to the stream. From here, a bridge leads to the famed picnic spot of
Waters Meet on the right bank, the confluence of the Ferozpore Nallah and the Bahan River.
Ferozpore Nallah is about 5 km down the valley from
Gulmarg.
