Fergusson College is located centrally in
Pune, close to Deccan Gymkhana (Sambhaji Nagar). It provides higher education in arts and science. Established in 1885 by Lokmanya Tilak and Gopal Ganesh Agarkar, the college offers bachelor's degree and master degree courses. Inside the campus there is an amphitheatre, a library, sport courts, canteen, two sport grounds, a hillock with a Hanuman temple on top, boys' and girls' hostel blocks, and various departmental buildings.
