Fatima Church in Elamkulam is the first church in India, dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima. It was consecrated at Elamkulam in Kochi under arch-diocese of Verapoly in the year 1951.
The altar of the church is noted for its simplicity and elegance. There are 3 chapels dedicated to Mary Immaculate, St James and St Christopher. A school named St John's Lower Primary school, started in 1926, is functioning in the church premises.
Mass is held at 06:30 hrs on Sundays, at 06:45 hrs on Saturdays and at 07:00 hrs from Monday to Friday. Novena is conducted at 07:30 hrs on Saturdays.
