A majestic peak of the Garhwal Himalayas, Fateh Parvat or Fateh Parbat is in the western part of Uttarkashi District. Tons or Tamsa river separates this peak from the neighboring peaks of Himachal Pradesh. Har-Ki-Doon Valley, a terraced mountain field of flowers, is located at the base of Fateh Parvat. Osla, one of the most beautiful villages near Fateh Parvat, has a carved temple dedicated to Duryodhana.
