Luxury train



Fairy Queen is a luxury train that comes with world class amenities and offers weekend trips (2 days and one night) for its travelers. It was rolled out in 1855 for the East Indian Railway. For the first time after 1908, the Fairy Queen rolled again on February 1st, 1997 from Delhi to Alwar. The Fairy Queen enjoys pride of place in "The Guinness Book of World Records" for possessing the oldest working engine and it has also won the National Tourism Award.

The Fairy Queen offers trips to the picturesque town of Alwar in Rajasthan from where the tourists are taken to the Sariska Tiger Reserve for an overnight stay. The train accommodates 50 passengers and tariff includes breakfast, lunch, refreshment, and beverages. Liquor, laundry, and portage are also available for an extra pay.

Children (5 - 12 years of age) : Rs. 3,750/-
Foreigners and NRIs Children ( 5 - 12 years of age) : $ 83
Children below 5 years : Free
