Eturnagaram Wildlife Sanctuary is about 55 km from Warangal. Located near Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh border, it is one of the oldest sanctuaries in India.
Eturnagaram Wildlife Sanctuary is covered by dry deciduous teak forest. Fauna include tiger, panther, wolf, wild dogs, jackals, sloth bear, nilgai, sambhar, spotted deer, four horned antelope, chinkara, black buck and giant squirrels.
Warangal Junction Railway Station is the nearby railhead.
