Ettimadai

Surrounded by the Western Ghats on three sides, Ettimadai is a town on the outskirts of Coimbatore, in Coimbatore District. Lying close to the border of Kerala, it covers an area of 17 sq km. Amrita Institute of Technology is the major landmark there. Nearby places include Palakkad (32 km), Coimbatore (16 km), Perur, Valparai and Pollachi. Coimbatore Airport (27 km) is the nearest airport. The town has a railway Station. National Highway 47 passes close by.
