Ethnographic museum attached with the Department of Anthropology of
Lucknow University was established in 1951. It treasures a rich collection of ethnographic, prehistoric, archaeological, paleoanthropological objects, implements, weapons, objects of transport, dresses, stone tools and prehistoric hunting scenes (plaster models).
Entry to the visitors is facilitated between 11:00 hrs and 17:00 hrs. The museum remains closed during May and June.
