Eravinalloor




Eravinalloor is a beautiful village in Kottayam District and lies on the banks of Kodoor River. It is a small island like village surrounded by water bodies and Kodoor River. The village is connected to the main land by four bridges; Panachikkad bridge to connect to Panachikkad, Puthupally bridge to connect Puthupally, Parakkalkadavu bridge to connect to Kollad and Eravinalloor bridge to connect Thrikkothamangalam.

Eravinalloor is famous for its three temples dedicated to Lord Muruga, Lord Krishna and Goddess Bhadrakali. Panachikad Temple, famous for Saraswathi Pooja in the month of Thulam (September-October), is about 3 km from Eravinalloor.

Kottayam Railway Station is the nearest major railhead.
